May is the Month of Mary:

May is the Month of Mary. For centuries, the Catholic Church has set aside the entire month of May to honour Mary, Mother Of God—not just a day in May, but the entire month. We ask that you set aside some family time to reflect on and acknowledge Mary, our Mother.  

Celebrating Family Week Mass:

Thank you to the St Fidelis community who joined us in celebrating mass on Friday. This was a great celebration because, as a school community, we were given the time and opportunity to give thanks to our families. 

Confirmation Workshop:

This Tuesday, May 21st, at 7:00 pm, the Confirmation candidates and their families are invited to attend a Confirmation online Workshop facilitated by Maria Forde. Maria Forde is a singer, songwriter, presenter, and educator. Drawing upon all these skills and influences, Maria custom designs presentations and retreats for staff and students, with a particular focus on the Sacraments. Parents and carers will be sent a link to access this event.

Retreat Day: 

This year, the Year 6 children will have the opportunity to engage in a retreat day. This will take place at school on Wednesday, May 22nd. The Year 6 children can wear casual clothes on the day, and lunch will be provided. 

Bishop Visit:

Bishop Terry Curtin will visit our Year 6 Confirmation candidate on Thursday, May 23rd. The bishop will meet our Year 6 candidates as they prepare for Confirmation. We look forward to his visit.

Confirmation Celebration: 

The Year 6 Confirmation candidates will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday, June 2nd, at 3.00 pm at St Fidelis Church. More information about the Confirmation celebration will be discussed during the workshop. 

Class Mass:

On Tuesday, May 21st, at 9.15 am, the following classes will be celebrating mass: 5/6OS and FLW. We invite parents, grandparents, and carers to attend this special celebration.
