COHR Italian Day 2024

When: Monday 24th June   

ITALIAN DAY – MONDAY 24th JUNE  

Our whole school Italian Day is on Monday 24th June. On the day all students will participate in a variety of activities, enjoy a pizza lunch and an incursion called “Vacanze Romane” (Roman Holidays).

To get into the theme of the day which is “All Things Italian”, the students are invited to come dressed either in the Italian flag colours of green, white and red or in costume/clothing related to the Italian theme. Be as creative as possible!!!! So start thinking and plan ahead.

FRIENDLY REMINDER –

Thanks to all those who have brought in empty paper towel rolls. Please keep bringing them in as we need them for an activity on the day. There is a box in the Foyer for you to put them in!

ITALIAN LEARNING –

This year during Italian lessons, all students have participated in weekly “Oral language blast sessions”. During these sessions, students have focused their learning on functional everyday language to build their confidence in having a conversation with others in Italian. The vocabulary started from the very basic one-word greetings to more sophisticated phrases.
