Australian Maths Competition (Years 3-6)

Students in Years 3-6 are invited to participate in the Australian Maths Competition. The AMC features unique problems aimed at challenging and expanding students' problem-solving abilities.

Competition Details:

• Participation is optional and the cost is $8.50 per student
• The competition will take place on Tuesday 6th August, 11:30am - 12:30pm
• AMC Middle and Upper Primary include 30 questions: 25 multiple-choice and 5 short answer
• The duration of the competition is 60 minutes

The competition may include questions on the following topics:

• Basic arithmetic
• Fractions and ratios
• Algebra and pre-algebra
• Geometry
• Measurement
• Statistics and probability
• Problem-solving

If you wish for your child to take part please respond to the Operoo. Payments can be made via cash or CDF Pay from Friday 24th May (and will close on Friday 14th June).
