Sacred Heart Church Centenary

As part of the Oakleigh Parishes, we are happy to share with you some of the celebrations that are happening as the Sacred Heart Church turns 100!

The Oakleigh Parish of Sacred Heart Church will be celebrating its Centenary in March 2025. In preparation to the centenary celebrations several large projects will be required that include the painting of the church both internally & externally, the carpet replacement throughout the church and presbytery and repairs to the constant leaking roof. 

A team of parish volunteers have now banded together to commence fund raising activities for the centenary to ensure this milestone is a celebration for the whole of the Parish Community. 

On Sunday, 16th May 2024 the fundraising team will host a ‘Sausage Sizzle’ from 8:30am to 11:30am in the Sacred Heart Church Grounds. All are welcome, bring family and friends to enjoy .
