ANZAC Day

On the 26th of April, Staughton College held a whole assembly where they paid their respects to those who lost their lives on that fateful day in Gallipoli. School leaders took part in the ceremony with our School Captains reciting the Ode of Remembrance amongst other formalities before staff member Shan Amunugama performed the Last Post. We also had two students, Prisayus Andrews and Georgia Tietze, perform the Australian and New Zealand (both English and Te Reo Māori) National Anthems. Principal Kristy Herridge and School Captains also attended the memorial service in Melton in the early of hours of April the 25th. Students were very respectful throughout the duration of the assembly and for that we as a school are very proud.
