Book of the Month

We have been extremely busy this term. It was all action after the holidays and as always the library is humming and there is rarely a quiet moment, which we love.

Our Librarian, Glennyce has decided to retire. We would like to thank Glennyce for her friendship and the work she has done to make the library what it is today and we wish her the most wonderful retirement and many exciting adventures.

In May we had some extremely exciting news, we received a grant from Dymocks Children’s Charity for regeneration of the library. Our grant was $15000 and we have had a lovely time choosing titles from their catalogue to revitalise our collection.

Tales from the Pitch

For the ‘Book of the Month’ we have decided to showcase a new series of factual novels. These ‘fictional biographies’ describe some of the key moments in the careers of a number of the world’s soccer/football superstars with the author’s imagination weaving the story behind the facts.

We have 24 new titles to explore our football followers jumped on these as soon as they hit the shelves.

I can’t wait to choose from our new books for the next showcased title.

Please remain vigilant with the search for overdue books, we still have a large number of items outstanding and would like to see them returned to the shelves for other students to enjoy.
