Congratulations to the 2024 Student Ambassadors! I am incredibly excited to work with our new Student Ambassadors this year to continue to improve our wellbeing and engagement data.
Our 2023 Wellbeing & Engagement Collection (WEC) Survey results were very positive, however, I am excited to work with our leaders this year to continue to improve our wellbeing and engagement data with a focus on learner readiness, which we identified as an area for focus for 2024. Our priorities also line up with the new Strategy for Public Education with one of the areas of impact in the strategy being Wellbeing.
I will keep the community updated as we progress and I am looking forward to sharing all the wonderful initiatives that our student body will come up with. I will be facilitating our first meeting in week 5 and I look forward to updating you in the week 6 newsletter.
It is my pleasure to Congratulate the April Aussies of the Month.
At LNPS, Aussie of the Month recipients are chosen using success criteria that are aligned with our school values. Students need to demonstrate the school values every day to be considered for the award.
There are three students chosen each month for the award. There is one recipient chosen from the Early Years, Torrens and Fisher. Teachers from each section of the school are responsible for nominating students each month.
Please keep reading below to see the April Aussie of the Month recipients.
"Although only having been at school for a short time, Oliver has made his mark as a role model in Rowell by demonstrating the LNPS school values all day, every day! Oliver shows maturity in all situations and respects all adults and peers. He enters the classroom daily with a huge smile and enthusiasm for learning and teamwork. Oliver tries hard at all learning and takes on challenges willingly. He strives for perfection and growth, wanting to do his best every time and “grow his learning muscles!”. Oliver, you are so appreciated by us all… Keep persisting! Keep challenging yourself! Keep smiling! Keep ‘Aiming High'!"
I’m so proud of you!

"Genevieve is an outstanding candidate for the LNPS Aussie of the Month. I have been lucky enough to teach Genevieve in Reception and now being in Year Four. She has grown and matured into a kind, continuous and thoughtful student and I have been impressed by the commitment and interest she has shown towards her learning. She challenges herself and always pursues excellence. Genevieve is a wonderful role model to her peers and is not afraid to walk to the beat of her own drum. Congratulations on the accomplishment Genevieve, continue to be yourself and strive to meet your goals."
