Resolute Shield Award

This award is a part of the 3rd Cavalry part of the Light Horse Brigade that served at Beersheba.

The word resolute means - admirably purposeful, determined, and unwavering

Students must demonstrate these values at school and in the community. This award goes to a person who has shown this on a daily basis.

Pete Tinning Sports Award 

This award is presented to a student who has excelled in the field of School Sport. The recipient of this award has represented the school on multiple occasions, with distinction and pride. Whilst representing the school, this student ensured they showed all school values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience.

 

SSV Sporting Achievement award-

  •  displayed outstanding sporting leadership qualities within the school environment and beyond 
  • displayed outstanding teamwork, encouragement to fellow students, commitment to the school and generally lifts the morale of the school as a result
  • participated in SSV region and state finals and or represented Team Vic and State Sporting Association teams.
Ashlee AAcademic Excellence Award - This award is presented to a student who’s hard work and commitment to achieving has meant high results in all areas of her learning.

This award is presented to a student who thinks mathematically, is able to problem solve efficiently and investigate problems, while achieving outstanding results in all areas of Mathematics.

This award is presented to a student who has shown exceptional literacy skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening. They use writer’s craft to convey meaning, engage readers, and create engaging written texts that communicate effectively and captivate audiences.

This award is presented to a student who consistently displays the value of respect both in our school and out in the community.

To receive this award, the recipient always represents Tongala Primary School with pride and promotes our school in a positive way through their actions.

Responsibility Award

This award is presented to a student who is always responsible when representing themself, their family and Tongala Primary School.

They take on extra roles within the school and lead by example in these roles.
