Sports Day

Sports Day

On Thursday 5th December we celebrated our highly anticipated Sports Day in a slightly different way due to extreme weather conditions. Despite the challenges, the day was a tremendous success, filled with energy, teamwork and school spirit.

The modified format began with vibrant house chants in the morning, where students showcased their enthusiasm and creativity in support of their teams. Following this, students participated in classroom-based activities designed to promote active learning and teamwork. A highlight of the day was the three multicultural tabloid activities held in the gym and the yummy special Barbeque.

The day was a shining example our everyone's commitment to our values of inclusion and kindness, and the Golden Rule. Many students demonstrated exceptional good spirit, resilience and teamwork throughout.

Congratulations to Mitchell House for winning the Good Spirit Award, a testament to their unwavering positivity and encouragement. Congratulations also goes to Sturt House for winning the overall Sports Day.

Thank you to the staff, students and families who made the day such a success! A special thank you to the Andrews Family for supplying an ice block for every student.

Glenelg Volleyball Carnival

On Friday 29th November, we sent two enthusiastic teams to the Glenelg Beach Volleyball Carnival. Our students embraced the challenge with determination and a positive attitude. Both teams showed resilience, teamwork and plenty of smiles, proving that enjoying the journey is just as important as the results. We congratulate our players for making the most of the day and representing Clovelly Park Primary with pride!
