Class Activites / Achievements

ITALIAN
Italian classes are needing some Christmas paper with pictures we can cut out and use on the children's work over the next few weeks. If anyone has any laying around or bits and pieces, please
send with your child to school.
BREAKFAST CLUB
Our breakfast club has been a great success. Thank you to our volunteers who have made this happen. That is it for this year- we will be back for Breakfast Club. Week 2 2025!
Prep PMP
PREP PMP
That's a wrap for Prep PMP lessons this year. Thanks to Santa, Mrs Claus, the elves & reindeers for letting help you to "hang out" your washing, we loved it!
Thanks also to the many staff & students who supported the program & assisted Miss Coffey & Mr L to run the weekly sessions.
MWAI KUMWENDA & RUBY BARKMEYER VISIT
On Friday, our senior students were visited by Mwai Kumwenda & Ruby Barkmeyer from Kellysports. Mwai and Ruby are both former Melbourne Vixen players. Ruby is a Bendigo local & Mwai hails from Malawi, where she has captained her nation & competed at the Commonwealth Games & World Championships. Mwai also won the player of the tournament honours at the 2015 World Cup & has previously been the league top score in the Suncorp Super Netball Competition.
Mwai and Ruby shared their life and sporting journeys before holding a Q&A for our students.
Kellysports Bendigo will be running netball clinics with Mwai and Ruby over the holidays. Contact Beau from Kellysports if your child is interested.
SNAPS FROM THE EXPO
A few snaps from the EXPO. The EXPO certainly showcased the information students have researched and then presented. They were very articulate in their knowledge around the subject they chose and were able to explain how their interests related to the key learning intentions.
TOY DONATIONS
We are asking for toy donations towards our St Vincent’s Christmas Appeal. This time of year can be very tricky for lots of families in our community and around the world. We ask that students purchase a gift for someone of a similar age to themselves and bring this into school over the coming weeks. All of these will be collected by Jill from St Vincent de Paul Eaglehawk and distributed to children in need. Please only donate if you can. There will be a collection box in the Office.
JOKE CORNER
Here is our last jokes for the year
