From the Principal

Dear Families,
As we approach the end of this school year, we stand in gratitude for all that the St Liborius community has offered each of us.
As we reflect on our year together, we give thanks:
- To our students, who have supported one another through each step of their journey.
- To our parents, for entrusting their children to us and for their unwavering support, which allows our children to thrive.
- To our dedicated staff, who have poured their hearts and energy into guiding our students, often at the expense of their own personal time.
- To the parishioners who have shared in the life of our school and its mission.
- To the countless volunteers whose generosity has strengthened our school in so many ways.
- To those who have comforted others in times of sorrow or anxiety.
- To those who have shown resilience and perseverance in overcoming academic, social, and emotional challenges.
- And to the children, and to all who have celebrated even the smallest of achievements, we give thanks.
Each of you is a vital part of this community, and together, we have been able to achieve some pretty awesome things!
I would also like to acknowledge our graduating Year 6 students, who are celebrating a few extra special days together as they enjoy their Graduation breakfast tomorrow, followed by their big day out on Thursday. Congratulations to each of these students for successfully completing their primary school journey. We look forward to hearing about their adventures as they move on to the secondary years of schooling.
As communicated previously, we also bid farewell to two members of our staff at the end of this year—Ben Fitzpatrick and Kyle Franzini. We wish them both all the best as they transition into their new roles.
Wishing each of our families, staff and community members a safe, peace-filled and holy Christmas and holiday period.
With many blessings,
Alannah Darmody
Principal
