Year 6 Fun Day

This year, we partnered with Motiv8sports to host the Year 6 Fun Day. The day was designed to celebrate the end of primary school with a day full of fun and laughter, action, teamwork, and unforgettable memories. Highlights from the day include exciting team games, a fun sponge-throwing competition, a challenging minefield activity, and energetic water relay races! Students and teachers embraced every moment, showcasing their teamwork and energy.

We look forward to more adventures as our Year 6 students transition to high school!

Chatswood High School Gala Day

Our students had a fantastic time engaging with their future peers at Chatswood High School, exploring the various sports opportunities available to them. The day was filled with laughter, teamwork and friendly competition as Year 6 students participated in netball, basketball, soccer, and Oztag. It was wonderful to see our students showcasing their skills and sportsmanship while building new friendships with high school students.

This event provided an invaluable experience for our Year 6 students, helping them feel more comfortable and excited about their transition to high school in 2025. Thank you to all the parents and carers for your support in preparing the students.

A big thank you as well to Chatswood High School for hosting this memorable day and treating our students to a Zooper-Dooper. We look forward to seeing our Year 6 students continue to thrive as they approach this exciting new chapter in their educational journey.

Transition - Kindergarten - Year 1 & Year 2 - Year 3

Today, we held a Transition morning, aimed at helping our students prepare for the upcoming school year. This provided a valuable opportunity for our 2024 Kindergarten and Year 2 students to acclimate to their new learning environments.

Students had the chance to visit their new classrooms, allowing them to familiarise themselves with the layout and resources available. For our Kindergarten students moving to Year 1, this was particularly important as they explored a more structured classroom environment, complete with new learning areas and resources that support independent learning. Year 2 students transitioning to Year 3 were excited to discover the layout of the learning environments in P1 and P2 and spaces that encourage collaboration and exploration. This will hopefully help to alleviate any anxiety they may have had about moving to a new grade.

Tree of Joy

The Tree of Joy is a simple yet impactful Rotary community project designed to provide gifts to those in our broader community who may not often experience the joy of receiving one at Christmas. Our staff and the Chatswood community have generously contributed to support this worthwhile cause.
