Volunteer 'Thank You' Morning Tea
The school kindly hosted a morning tea on Thursday to thank parent and carer volunteers for all the help during the year.
It was heart warming to see the school hall full of all the generous parents and carers who have given their time to help out this year in so many ways… in classrooms, at scripture and ethics, canteen, events. Without volunteers, our school would be greatly diminished.
Thank you so much to all volunteers for everything you do!
Final year as President
This is my final newsletter as President of Chatswood Public School P&C. It’s been a privilege, and very rewarding, to serve our community in this capacity supported by our awesome P&C volunteers who go about actually getting all the things done . I’ve learned so much from everyone. I’m very thankful that Brian Chiu is here to step into the role.
In particular, I’d like to express particular thanks to Pearl, who has been an amazing treasurer for many years and is finally stepping down this year. Thanks to Sue, who spent many years leading the uniform shop and events and has done so much for our school and community and who leaves the school at the end of this year, and to Yenny who is stepping down from leading the Canteen. And thanks to all three for continuing to support incomers to these roles.
All our P&C volunteers are parents at the school, just like any other, with jobs and kids. Volunteers are taking up the rewarding challenge of doing their best supporting our kids and our school community to thrive and grow. Thanks!

P&C Membership 2025
All parents and carers are invited to become a P&C member ($1.50) via this link:

Note: Memberships paid now remain current for more than a year, until the end of February 2026.
All spending decisions by the P&C are discussed at meetings and voted by Members.
P&C Meetings
The next P&C General Meeting will be Tuesday 25 February next year.
All parents and carers are welcome at P&C meetings. Meetings are online via Zoom.
At meetings we have updates from the school principal, P&C operational updates, and motions to expend money to the benefit of students at CPS.
Meetings are always 7:30pm, 4th Tuesday of each month during term.
