Japanese News Week 9 

We've had a super busy and productive end of term! The foundation students have been practising the concert song "kobutanukitsuneko" in Japanese. They have been learning about animals, animal sounds, counting animals and also ask and respond they have pets or not. The Year One and Two students have been learning about food and drinks, what kind of food and drinks they like or dislike and what they taste like. The Year Three and Four have been learning about names of clothing and the verbs to "wear" or "put on" different types of clothing. The Year Five and Six have translated recipes from Japanese to English and vice versa. They translated Mitarashi Dango recipe, then made and tasted the Mitarashi dango.
