Foundation Learning Community News

It has been such a busy time for our Foundation cohort with finishing off assessments, learning our concert dances and swimming!

Literacy:

Our narratives are coming along fabulously and we are well on the way to completing our first published text. Come along on Thursday the 12th of December, between 9:15 - 9:45am, when we will have an open classroom where our Preps can share their stories with family and friends. If you are unable to attend this morning session please let us know and we will have your childs Grade 5 buddy come along in your place. 

Swimming:

We have been blown away by how independent the Preps have been during our swimming sessions. They are being very respectful to the hard working instructors and showing improvement with their water safety. It has been especially exciting to see children who have not been swimming very often take to learning the basics so enthusiastically. Thank you to our volunteer helpers, it is a challenge getting dry and changed and we really appreciate your help.

Assembly:

We had our final Prep Assembly on Friday Week 8. Please see below for our award recipients and those who achieved their Maths Master Keyrings.
