Bush Nippers 2025

Bush Nippers is a regional and rural inland adaptation to coastal nipper education programs and is a successful open water learning experience/ lifesaving education program, which aims to build lifesaving and water safety knowledge and skills of children aged 5 to 14 years in open water environments.

The program has been running in the Campaspe Shire since 2021 and will be running again this January 2025.

Girgarre Moosic Muster attracts more than 1500 music lovers and skilled players from city and country, stamping it as a major fixture on Victoria’s acoustic festival circuit. The tutors and bands still work free of charge. For more than a decade, this unique muster has encouraged and taught thousands of beginners how to play music and provided a platform and exposure for many established and emerging musicians, songwriters and bands.
