Primary Olympics and French Day
Bonjour PVCC Community!
Let’s go to the Paris 2024 Olympics for one day, tout le monde!
On Wednesday, 24 J 2024, our Primary Department will host an Olympics and French Day to celebrate the Paris Olympics 2024.
This will be an action-packed day for everyone, offering our students, teachers, and the entire PVCC community a unique opportunity to celebrate the mesmerising world of sports, French language, and customs! The event promises a fun and creative experience that integrates all areas of the curriculum. The morning will feature the Kaboom Olympics incursion, followed by a French Mime show for the children in Plenty Kids and Primary School. Additionally, a variety of fun classroom activities related to the Olympic Games will ensure a memorable and successful day for everyone!
The school will provide either a plain croissant or a croissant with berry jam at lunchtime for the children.
On the day of the event, students are encouraged to wear clothing representing a country of their choice and runners to participate in the physical activities.
We look forward to having a fabulous day ‘in Paris’ on July 24th!

Open Day coming up!
Join us for our next Open Morning at Plenty Valley Christian College! On Tuesday 30th July you are invited to come and tour the school, and meet our Principal and leaders to come away with a better understanding of our college's vision and values.
During the Open Day, you will have the opportunity to:
- Tour our facilities and see classrooms in action led by student tour guides.
- Meet our teachers and staff who are dedicated to providing a quality Christian education.
- Learn about our comprehensive curriculum that integrates faith and learning.
- Experience the warm and welcoming community that sets Plenty Valley Christian College apart.
We are also excited to announce that applications for new applications for 2026 places in Kinder, Prep, Year 5 and Year 7 are now open. These applications close on July 31, 2024. If you are already enrolled at the college you will not need to submit a new application for these year levels.

Trivia night coming soon – don’t miss it!
The biannual PVCC Trivia night is coming soon on Saturday 3rd August from 7pm to 10pm and promises to be a great night out!
Organised by the Secondary Senate and supported by the Parents and Friends Group, it will be held in the PVCC Secondary Library Hub and is open to all parents, staff, secondary students and alumni to attend. With tables of 10, it’s the ideal opportunity to get together with others to form a table.

The theme is Battle of the Decades – feel free to dress up representing your favourite decade from the glitz of the 20's to 50's poodle skirts all the way to the '90s grunge era! There will be prizes for best dressed and best dressed table! Trivia will cover a wide variety of subjects, not just decades of times past.
Bring your own food and drinks for sharing with your table (no alcohol).
Funds raised will go toward student-led initiatives to improve their college resources.
Any donations of vouchers, gift cards or products that can be used for a Silent Auction or Prizes would be greatly appreciated.
