School Newsletter Term 2

Heavenly Father,

As another term comes to a close,

we turn to you with trust.

We bring our prayers to Jesus,

to strengthen our relationships.

Help us let go of hurts

and disagreements from the past,

love us now, and help us in the future.

Show us how to keep our lives balanced.

Let this break be a time

to rest and have fun,

so we can return refreshed

and be more like you.

Thank you for our families.

Please bless them always.

Amen.

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope receiving student reports and participating in parent-teacher interviews has been a positive and productive process. I know the teachers really value the opportunity to discuss your child's progress and achievements with you. Mid year reports allow us to check in on the dedication and effort the children are demonstrating and reset goals for semester two..

Your continued support in your child's education is greatly appreciated and your involvement contributes significantly to their success. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. The best way to achieve academic and personal growth for our children is to work together in partnership.

Naidoc Celebration

A reminder that we will be having a prayer celebration for Naidoc Week on Friday afternoon instead of assembly. This will start at 2.45 pm everyone is very welcome to join us.

Pupil Free Day - Term 3

A reminder that the teachers will be participating in a day of professional learning on Friday, 26 July. This will be the Friday of week one and although we will be onsite, there will be no student supervision. The teachers will continue their work in gaining a better understanding of the demands of the new English Syllabus with a particular focus on reading.

Cold and Flu Symptoms

With the winter months now in full swing, it is important for the health and well-being of all students and staff that we keep children home from school if they exhibit symptoms of a cold or flu. This not only helps prevent the spread of illness within our school community, but also supports the recovery of affected students. When we return in term three, your cooperation in this matter will ensure we maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone at school.

As we reach the halfway mark of the year, I want to extend my warmest wishes to each of you for a restful holiday season. First semester has been a rewarding journey, filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences for our students. I encourage you all to take this time to relax and rejuvenate together. For those of you travelling, I wish you a safe journey and I look forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead in the remainder of the academic year.
