Year 3/4 Learning Reflection

We have been exploring how suffixes can change the meanings of words. Students collaborated to brainstorm all the words they knew with the suffix "ed".

Grade 3 students in word study have been learning about verb tenses.

Students in 4B have been learning to add more description when using dialogue.  

In Maths, 4A have been learning to use their times table strategies to solve the multiplication algorithm with regrouping. 

Students in 3B have been learning about the structure of a narrative. 

We have been learning how to build our confidence when speaking in front of a group. Students have practised projecting their voices so their audience can hear them. In the photos above, students from 4A are sharing their writing pieces and reading stories to the class.
