Year 1/2 Learning Reflection

On Thursday the 6th of June we celebrated 'Twilight School' where we came to school between 1pm and 7pm! Our families were invited to come and see all the amazing work that we do in our classrooms! 

The Grade 1/2s participated in a wonderful 'hands on' incursion run by Earth Crusaders. We learnt that just like the Wurundjeri people, we need to care and look after the plants, animals and waterways.  We decorated a cotton tote bag and learnt about the importance of recycling. 

We have continued to learn about 'Procedural texts' and followed the steps to make fairy bread. The best part was when we got to eat the delicious fairy bread!
