2026 Country Fair

Saturday 7 March 2026

10:00am - 3:00pm

Free entry - all welcome!

Wolaroi Main Oval, 59-67 Bathurst Rd, Orange

Kinross Wolaroi School will be hosting its Country Fair on Saturday 7 March 2026 on the main Wolaroi Oval from 10:00am to 3:00pm. An initiative of the School's Parents and Friends Association, the Fair is a tradition that unites our school and community in a day filled with fun and entertainment. This year it is also a key event for celebrating our school's 140th Anniversary!

The Fair is an event that involves our whole community and the P&F Fair Committee is working hard to make it a great day - but they need your help!

Raffle Prizes Needed

Members of our community have already generously donated to the prize pool for the Fair's 'Mega Raffle', but the Committee is reaching out with a final request for donations.

We are specifically interested in receiving donations of any of the following raffle items:

  • Holiday Accommodation
  • Restaurant Vouchers
  • Hampers
  • Ski or sporting passes
  • Cruise Packages
  • Gift cards
  • Experience Packages such as Rugby/AFL/theatre tickets, Bridge Climb, etc.
  • Home Appliances
  • Luxury Items
  • Art

If you are unable to donate items but want to still show your support, cash contributions are appreciated and will be put towards purchasing prizes.

If you or your organisation has something to offer, we would greatly appreciate your support!  Final donations close Monday 9 February 2026.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch with the P&F Acting President, Sarah Rourke, via email at pandftreasurer@kws.nsw.edu.au

What do we require right now? We're asking the whole community if you can help with the following donations:

  • The Jar Stall is looking for fun-filled jars (minimum value of $2) of edible goodies, toys, vouchers, makeup, or anything else you can imagine that is new and will sell.

  • The Jams and Preserves Stall is very much in need of our empty jars. Please provide clean jars of various sizes. Please ensure the labels are removed.

  • The Plant Stall would love your donations but needs them delivered just prior to Fair day - drop off will be outside Senior School Reception on Friday 6 March.

  • The Cake Stall has boxes available and we hope every family will donate cakes, slices or biscuits. Cake boxes will be available from next week at both Senior and Junior Reception. They should be returned, filled with goodies, on the night before or morning of the Fair.

  • The Book Emporium would love to give your books a second chance of love. Please donate suitable/family friendly books in good condition (no damage or incomplete copies) that are suitable for resale (no magazines, encyclopaedias, or expired cookbooks). Literature for children and young adults would be highly valued. We would also appreciate new book donations or book gift vouchers.

The Fair will be accepting donations from Monday 9 February until Friday 6 March, 8.30am – 4.00pm.

The drop off zone is located at the Engagement Cottage (first cottage on the right of the main driveway). We will have tubs at the front door.

If you have any items you would like to drop off sooner, small items can be left at Reception/Junior School Office or if large, please email Kate Allen on events@kws.nsw.edu.au
