Our first day of kindergarten – Banksia Group

Our first day began with a balance of outdoor play in the morning, making the most of the cooler weather before the sun warmed up. We enjoyed a mid-morning picnic outside before heading indoors to explore the classroom. The children were introduced to one another through a group song, marking the beginning of their journey together for the year. Over the coming weeks, our focus will be on helping everyone develop a sense of belonging, have fun and feel happy, learn and respect basic room rules, and build their play skills.
