What's been happening this week?

MAKING CONNECTIONS

The Year 3/4 students continued to explore various emotions and how we express them in different situations. We especially enjoyed making connections with the movie ‘Inside Out 2’ and playing an emotions boardgame in small groups. 

It has been wonderful to see the students making connections with their peers and teachers. The 3/4 students were challenged with Kahootz quiz about their teachers! It was a fun way for everyone to get to know the 3/4 team a little better. The winning team was from Mr Stocks’s class but all students and teachers had a wonderful time.

MINI-MES

Our 1/2s enjoyed creating Mini-Mes of themselves revealing how they see themselves.   Some showed what they wanted to be when they grow up, some were superheroes, all revealing their own uniqueness!

DEAR FUTURE SELF

Students have been working on a 'letter to their future self' and exploring different ways to represent numbers on a poster about themselves.
