Welcome Back to School

It has been wonderful to welcome everyone back to school and see such a positive start to the year across all learning centres. Students have settled into their new classes extremely well, with classroom routines clearly established from day one. Students are aware of expectations and are demonstrating responsibility by following them, helping to create calm, supportive and learning focused environments.

A special mention must go to our Foundation students, who have settled in exceptionally well. They are already confidently demonstrating classroom expectations, including “hands on top, that means stop”, circle time and teaching line routines. Their enthusiasm, smiles and growing confidence have been a joy to see.

As students dive straight back into learning, we are reminded that every minute in the classroom counts. To help your child get the most out of each day, please ensure they arrive at school before 9:00am. Being punctual means students don’t miss key elements of learning, including explicit teaching and important morning routines that set them up for success. Many students and families also attend Breakfast Club, which is a wonderful way to start the day. enjoying healthy food, connecting with friends and arriving to class settled and ready to learn.

Across the school, students have been learning about and revisiting our school value of Respect, and it has been fantastic to see this value in action in classrooms, in the yard and during transitions throughout the day.

We are looking forward to a great year ahead, with many exciting learning experiences and school events planned. We warmly encourage families to be involved in our community events we truly value your presence and contributions.

We are excited for what 2026 has in store and look forward to another successful year together!
