Year 3/4 Mainstream

What we’ve been up to:
Over the past fortnight, students have been busy wrapping up their learning by finishing their integrated projects and inventor posters, showing great creativity and effort. We’ve also enjoyed celebrating the end of the year together with special class activities and reflections. This week, the classroom has been full of excitement as students have taken part in fun, Christmas-themed activities, helping us end the year on a joyful note.
Our highlights this year:
Our year in Grade 3/4 has been filled with many memorable moments and achievements. Highlights included Camp, the Colour Run, the orchestra excursion and the Arts Festival, to name just a few. Students also showed great adaptability and resilience while learning and playing around the ongoing building works at our school, and we are excited to see the progress when we return at the start of the next school year.
In the classroom, students worked hard on a range of engaging learning experiences. Our integrated project saw students design and create their own board games while learning about famous inventors and their ideas, demonstrating creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Grade 3 students also participated in the MALPA program, and we celebrated their achievements during our graduation celebration. We are so proud of the growth, effort, and perseverance every student has shown this year, and it has been a pleasure to be part of their learning journey.
Reminders for the end of term:

- Practice independence: Encourage your child to help with routines, organise their belongings, and take responsibility for simple tasks.
- Stay active and healthy: Balance screen time with outdoor play, regular sleep routines, and healthy eating.
