Gardening

A huge Ngoongodgin to all if the children, families, friends, teachers and support staff who have been part of our gardening program this year.
Together we have grown and shared food from our garden
Herbal teas - pesto - pumpkin soup - spankopita and dumplings, to name a few!
We have developed a new sensory garden and bushfoods beds, propagated hundreds of plants for community festivals, and moved countless wheelbarrows of mulch and soil.
Children have spent valuable learning time outside- developing a strong sense of connection to Country, as they learned in, from, and about the natural world.
Thanks to all of the community members who have shown up to working bees, worked on our plant stall, and helped care for our chickens
If you would like to be involved in our gardening program next year, please get in touch with Emily - we would love to have your help
