The year coming to a close
As the year draws to a close at Scotsburn, we want to say one final massive thank you to everyone involved in the Scotsburn community. Each and every one of you have contributed to the success of the year, ensuring every child is able to achieve their full potential. Thank you for trusting us with your children, for walking alongside us, and for being part of what makes Scotsburn such a special place.
Have a wonderful summer break and we can wait to join everyone back again in 2026!

Buninyong Community Playgroup Christmas Wonderland
Friday last week certainly was a huge day, with the campus hosting the Buninyong Community Playgroup Christmas Wonderland. Across the day we welcomed close to 300 visitors, enjoying two performances from the Buninyong Bard of The Magic Pudding, market stalls, a free sausage sizzle from The Mt Helens Lions Club, and even a visit from Santa. Our Bake Sale and 3D printing stall nearly sold out, which was a great success. A massive thank you to all parents and families who contributed to the bake sale - we were run off our feet! A particularly big thank you to Em, Vanessa, Kylie, Casey and Sylvia, who put in many hours preparing items and manning the stall. Your hard work allowed everything to run smoothly.
Thank you to Belinda from the Buninyong Playgroup (and all of her helpers), for involving us in their magical day. We can’t wait to be involved again in 2026!
Scotsburn Christmas Concert
Thank you everyone for your involvement in our Christmas Concert. Once again it was a fitting way to celebrate an amazing year at the Scotsburn Campus. It was great to see lots of family, friends and even past students in attendance. The students all did amazingly well, coming together to enjoy the afternoon as one big cohort.
Our 2026 Campus leaders were announced, with Darragh M, Lincoln H, and Lachy B taking on the job for next year. They will do a great job!
Well done also to Amity, who was presented with the CWA “Heart of Gold” Award, honouring a student who uplifts others through their compassion and positive spirit. This award is very well deserved!
A very big thank you and well done must also be said to Kylie Smith for the lovely speech on behalf of the Scotsburn parents. We truly appreciate all that our parent community does to support us.
Grade 6 Graduation
Good luck and well done to Amity, Ana, Will, Matt, Oisin, Milaan and Flynn who will be attending the Buninyong Primary School whole school Graduation tonight. This will be a wonderful celebration for the students and families. All of you have led the campus very well in 2025.
Scotsburn Intercampus Travel At times, Scotsburn students will be transported between campuses in order to attend classes, assemblies, special days and events. On most occasions, transport required through the day will be by bus and occasionally private car for smaller groups of students. Parents may be asked to drop off or collect from the Buninyong campus if sessions are at the beginning or ending of a day. We will always let you know of any upcoming travel arrangements via our newsletter, Compass, or via phone for smaller, more specific travel arrangements. If you ever have any questions or concerns regarding intercampus travel, please contact your child’s teacher. |
