School Uniform – 2026

As we come to the end of the year, we’d like to thank our students and families for the fantastic way our school uniform has been worn throughout 2025. It’s been great to see the pride our students take in representing Buninyong Primary School.

Over the summer break, some families may be purchasing uniform items for 2026. When doing so, please make sure all items meet our school uniform policy (available on our website).

A few friendly reminders:

  • Full school uniform is worn each day (except on casual dress days)
  • No logos, apart from the Buninyong PS logo
  • Plain black school shorts only (no athletic or sports shorts)
  • Black school shoes, runners or boots
  • Hair at collar length or longer should be tied back
  • Makeup, nail polish, necklaces and false nails aren’t part of our uniform
  • Please label all uniform items to help avoid lost property
  • Our school hat is required for outdoor activities and should be kept neat and tidy

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to another great year together in 2026!

Thank you from Mphatso

It was lovely to recently receive a thank you card, photos and message from Mphatso Children’s Foundation, acknowledging the generosity shown by our school community during Footy Colours Day at the end of Term 3.

Through your coin donations, our students and families raised over $1,350. The message we received highlights just how meaningful this contribution is and the real difference it makes for children overseas—covering the cost of running one nursery school for a day and providing a bowl of porridge for every child attending, often the only meal some children receive.

The message reads:

Dear Narelle and Buninyong Primary School

Thank you so much for raising over $1,350.00 for Mphatso Children’s Foundation from your coin donation on your Grand Final Day last term.

The amount that you raised is how much it costs to run one nursery school and a bowl of porridge for every child attending a school day (approx. 1,000).

We have 13 nursery schools.

Many thanks and enjoy the Christmas break.

Jenny Parker President M C F

Thank you to all students, families and staff who supported Footy Colours Day and demonstrated the true Buninyong spirit of giving.
