Year 3/4
The Grade 3 and 4 students have been working really in the classroom and writing interesting poems in our poetry lessons. We have also been working on our handwriting during this time, to help us learn to write neatly to earn a pen license.
On Wednesday, there were 6 students in Grade 3 and 4 from our class who represented St Mary's School in the local chess tournament. We congratulate Mitchell, Amaya, Ella, Arcadia, Hannah and Indi, well done to our other students who played in the chess tournament earlier in the week.
Our class have also been experimenting with electricity in our inquiry lessons, we explored how potatoes can help to create electricity using potato clocks, the students loved learning how to make these!
We hope you all have a lovely holidays and we look forward to learning lots more in Term 4!
Thank you,
Bridget Chalkley
