Year One/Two News 

Over the past week the Year One and Two students have been exploring capacity in Maths. Students used different sized measuring equipment and multiple materials to investigate how much of something it takes to fill different containers. The students loved being able to estimate and then 'do' in a really hands on manner. Not only were the student's learning capacity, but they were also learning to refine their estimation and conversation skills as they worked in small groups with a lot of collaboration. 

We have had a very busy Term Three and have witnessed a lot of growth with our students. Term Four will be just as exciting with swimming, day camp experience, colour run, and all our end of year and Christmas celebrations, and of course, lots of learning coming up.
