There is a great opportunity for students interested in learning more about the Australian Defence Force to be held at the James Lawson Army Depot in Horsham.
The ADF are bringing a range of resources and guest speakers to answer questions that students may have. There will also be some “hands on” activities for the day and lunch provided.
Who: Year 10-12 students
Where: Army Reserve Depot Horsham
When: Tuesday 8th October
Time: 11.00am - 3.30pm
Diggers, Drivers, Officers, Engineers will be on site with support from the Defence Force Careers staff with a program of information followed by some hands-on with weapons systems, transport, infantry mobility vehicles, assault vehicles, and tactical trucks.
Your local Cadet Unit will also be on hand to answer any questions.
*Defence equipment on display may vary due to availability and operational requirements.

HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Join the St Brigid’s College Relay for Life Team. Our team manager is Indilly Penny. Use the link below, click on ‘JOIN MY TEAM’ to be part of the St Brigid’s College team. Registration is $30.00 (under 18) and $40.00 (18+) Merchandise (shirt) is between $10.00 for kid sizes and $15.00 for adults.
The Relay is being held on Friday 18th October and the morning of Saturday 19th October.

Last Friday, our Year 12 English students participated in an English revision session for their upcoming exams. With not long to go until they sit their English exam, it was great to have Ben Taylor from The English Lab work with our students and share his wealth of knowledge on how they can achieve to the best of their ability. Happy studying, Year 12s!
Students have been cooking up a storm in Foods during Term 3! From cake decorating, to baking delicious loaves of bread, to making profiteroles and tiramisu, students have been learning new techniques and tasting new flavours.
