Reflecting on R U OK? Day and the World’s Biggest Gratitude Lesson
Last week, our whole school came together to acknowledge R U OK? Day and participate in the World’s Biggest Gratitude Lesson. R U OK? Day is a reminder that checking in on others isn’t just important on this one day, but every day. It was encouraging to see so many of us reaching out, asking, “Are you okay?” and having meaningful conversations that showed care and support for one another.
Remember the 4 steps to ask someone ANY day:
During the World’s Biggest Gratitude Lesson, we learned about the power of thankfulness and shared what we’re grateful for. We even created special Gratitude Certificates to give to someone we are grateful to have in our lives. The simple act of recognising the good in our lives has a lasting impact on our wellbeing. Let’s keep the spirit of these events alive by continuing to check in with each other and practising gratitude every day!
Thanks,
The Wellbeing Team (Mrs Arthur, Sarah and Alisha)
