SPRING!

End of term 3 is here already, how did that happen so quickly? I'm not sure if it's just me getting older, but time definitely seems to be going a lot faster. It doesn't help when shops start advertising Christmas decorations so early. What I love about Spring of course are the beautiful blossoms and flowers and the warmer weather. Gardening is not my gift, but I really appreciate the creation that is all around me. The colours, variety, creativity and sunshine are a welcome break after Winter.

Term 3 has been full of different activities for the BPS community, including camps, swimming, sport days, Ping Pong A Thon, excursions, incursions etc. I had the privilege of attending two camps this term which allowed me to get to know those cohort of kids a lot better. As I reflect on this term, the analogy of a Spring garden fits well. All of these incredible students, staff and families make up a beautiful tapestry. The kids are really blossoming and growing in knowledge, maturity and physically! From the Foundation children right up to the Grade 6's, I see beautiful, amazing kids trying their best, showing kindness and patience and just having fun.

My hope over the holiday break is that everyone finds time to enjoy all that Spring has to offer. For our amazing teachers and staff who have outdone themselves this term, I hope you get a well deserved rest, it is a privilege to work alongside each of you. For our families, I hope you can set aside some quality time to spend with your incredible kids.

Warm Regards,
