Student-led Walk Through - Wellbeing

In the last week of Term 3, we ran our second Student-led Walk-through with a focus on wellbeing.  Thank you to all of our families that signed up and joined in the afternoon. With a focus on wellbeing we were able to highlight the programs across the school that are in place to support the wellbeing of students, including the following:

  • UR Strong - Friendship based program that supports understanding of friendship issues and how to solve them
  • Respectful Relationships - Active weekly lessons on building positive relationships across the school and in the community.  
  • Hawthorn Football Club,  "FRIENDS" program for Grade 5/6 students, 20 sessions focused on managing friendships
  • Bush Talk - Nature based program that focuses on increasing personal wellbeing through engagement with nature.  Optional program for Grade 5/6
  • iYarn - Weekly check in survey with students Grade 3-6 to assist teacher to identify issues and respond in a timely manner
  • Kooramook - Cross-age program that meets three times per term to support friendships across the school
