Year Two - Spotlight on Learning

Dear Families,

Welcome back to our final term of Year 2! Wow has the year gone quickly. We hope you all had a wonderful break and we can see the students have come back refreshed and ready to learn! We have lots of exciting things to look forward to this term so make sure to check the newsletter weekly for any updates.

Next term we are learning...

Vocabularydemand, shearer, outrage, delighted, zoomed, sheepishly, furious, proper

Auslan: This week we are learning that in Auslan we sign the object first and then describe its features. In this unit we learn signs for different pets.

Reminders

Just a reminder that St Thomas is a Sun Smart school and during Term 4 students are required to wear hats. Any student without a hat will be required to sit in the shade during play time and miss out on play.

We're participating in Socktober for Mission Month to make a difference for children in need in Mongolia. We'll be learning about a community in Mongolia this year and kicking goals to support children. Thanks for supporting our team as we look to make a difference!
