Library Updates

Happy book week everyone! A wonderful day was had by all and continued throughout the week celebrating all things books in the classroom and library.

Thank you to all the parents and friends who joined us for the parade! Events like this really do encourage a love of reading. Thank you again, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. 

What is book week? 

Book Week in Australia is an annual event organised by the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) to celebrate children's literature and promote reading among young people. It usually takes place in August, with schools, libraries, and communities across the country participating in a week-long series of activities focused on books and reading.
