STRENGTHS

At our school, we believe in the power of character strengths to shape our community and help each student shine. Character strengths are the positive qualities that influence how we think, feel, and behave. By focusing on these strengths, we can support each other in becoming the best versions of ourselves.

For the next two weeks, we will be celebrating the character strength of CURIOSITY. Curiosity is a vital character strength that drives students to explore, ask questions, and dive deeper into learning. At Lyndhurst Primary School, we believe that fostering this natural inquisitiveness helps our students engage more fully in their education and develop critical thinking skills.

In our classrooms, we encourage curiosity by creating an environment where questions are welcomed, and exploration is key. Activities like hands-on experiments, creative problem-solving, and open-ended discussions inspire students to follow their interests.

Parents can nurture curiosity at home by reading together, visiting museums, and encouraging children to explore topics they love. By supporting curiosity, we help our children build a foundation for lifelong learning and a love of discovery.
