This year's Book Week Parade will commence at 9:15am under the COLA. Parents are most welcome to attend. Children from Boggabri Ooranga Preschool will join us for the morning.

BOOK WEEK PARADE

Please join us for our annual Book Week Parade. Children are to wear their Book Week Costumes to school, ready for the parade at 9:15am. Parents and visitors are invited to come along to celebrate the magical world of books with our staff and students. We look forward to welcoming the Ooranga Pre-School children who will also join us for the parade.

TRANSITION TO KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM ~ 'LITTLE STARS'

We are excited to announce our Transition to Kindergarten Program for 2024. We have branded it 'Little Stars' and are set to start on Friday, 23rd August. The program will run each Friday (during school terms only) until Friday, 13th December ~ Week 9, Term 4.

Mrs Katie Goddard will be our Transition teacher.

We are now accepting enrolments. Please advertise with your friends and members of the community. If people wish to enrol, please direct them to our front office to collect and complete an enrolment form.

FATHERS, STEP FATHERS, GRANDFATHERS, UNCLES,  & SPECIAL MEN'S DAY BREAKFAST

On Friday, 30th August we will celebrate Fathers, Grandfathers, Uncles, and Special Men in our lives with a special breakfast. Please invite these special people to attend and enjoy an egg and bacon roll and coffee/tea to start their morning.

FATHER'S DAY STALL

Also on Friday 30th August the Yr 6 students will be holding a stall where students can purchase a small gift to give to their special father figure on Father's Day ~ 1st September. We have some great gifts and the cost this year will be $7 per gift. 

SMALL SCHOOLS' PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION

Boggabri Rotary Club Annual Small Schools' Public Speaking Competition

We will host this event again at Sacred Heart School on Thursday, 19th September. Mrs Darley has kindly offered to organise the competition to ensure that it runs smoothly on the day. Thank you, Mrs Darley!  Further information will be provided to parents and children closer to the date.

ENROLLING NOW FOR 2025

We are now accepting enrolments for 2025. If you intend to enrol your child in Kindergarten to Year 6, please contact Ms Traynor at the front office to collect an enrolment application. Please advertise with your friends and members of the community.
