Student Leaders Corner

Hello DHS! I hope Term 3 has been eventful and rewarding for everyone.

Although there wasn't a major school-wide competitive event planned this term, our school has still been incredibly active. We had a great production that ran in Week 6. It was so amazing to see the incredible talent, effort and dedication that our production team has put in to produce such an engaging and exciting performance. If you are curious, a recording should be out soon – trust me, it is really good – so I hope that you look forward to it…. and of course come back to see it next year!

Also, we will be ending the term with a bang through our long awaited cultural week! As a leadership team, we are super excited to celebrate our diverse culture and run a host of super exciting events. From performances to cultural foods to games and dress-up opportunities, there is something for everyone.

P.S. If you're interested in performing, please contact your House Leader or the SRCs as soon as possible.

Lastly, to my fellow Year 12 students, I know this has been a particularly challenging term with assessments and SACs wrapping up. However, we still have one more term, so make sure to take some time for yourself to rest and recharge. Whether your goal is to achieve the highest score possible or simply to graduate feeling fulfilled, make the most of this last school holiday. If you're aiming for an ATAR, use this time to practise for your exams. But either way, make sure to spend quality time with friends, family and create lasting memories.

I hope you remember our goal for this year: to make every minute count. So make sure that not even a single minute is wasted.

I hope you've had a fantastic Term 3, and I look forward to seeing you all back for a wonderful Term 4.
