Mamma Mia

Year 7 Music

Year 7 Music classes have a dual focus at the moment, learning how to read and play rhythm in music while also learning all about the different instruments. Being semester two classes, we have had young musicians who have just started their instruments earlier this year demonstrating how their instruments sound and work for the rest of their class. As classes, we are also learning to play percussion instruments in groups including writing our own group compositions. 

For added fun and coordination, 7E are all working hard to be star rock drummers. We learn all together using our mini sticks and then everyone is working on the class drum kit. Persistence and practice is certainly paying off as many master a rock beat each lesson.
