We're all highly motivated after recently watching some stunning cross-country rounds and pivotal displays of horsemanship at the Olympics. The Equestrian students have been working hard in their weekly lessons this term, and they are ready to tackle the upcoming show season.
It’s been great to see Zoe Weinberg being nominated for the Equestrian Victoria 2024 Young Ambassador of the Year, Finley Hiscock bonding with his new horse Duncan and the addition of our new school horse Mic. Congratulations also go to Co-Captain of Horsemanship, Muirne Reilly, who has again been nominated for Young Sportswoman of the Year. Finally, we are all looking forward to upcoming clinics with Jason Dins and to seeing Paul Williams return in October.

We’ve had to postpone many of our Horsemanship lessons with some wild and woolly weather lately. A reminder that our Horsemanship handbook’s weather policy states ‘Equestrian Victoria (EV) hot weather policy will see activities modified or cancelled should temperatures reach 34 degrees and above at 3:30 pm. Extreme weather, such as wild winds, hailstorms, lightning and thunderstorms, will result in session cancellation.
Any queries should be directed to the Director of Horsemanship, Mrs Nerrida Prosser.
Our student, parent, instructor and animal safety is always our priority when the weather is extreme, including travelling to and from the Equestrian Centre. All decisions about cancelling are made with this in mind.
