Wellness Week and College Has Got Talent

What an incredible week we just had, all thanks to the excellent organisation of our incredible SRC team led by Fay Harjanto, Hannah Croft, and Lucas Barosso.

The students enjoyed 300 slices of fairy bread, 250 sausages, icy poles, and fruit juices. They danced their hearts out at the disco, took on the challenge of a staff                                                                      vs. student netball match, engaged in random acts of

kindness, competed in House Art, and participated in a Wellness Week assembly that featured a masked singer (thanks to Mr. Burmeister) and a lip sync battle against the teachers. The grand finale on Friday featured a Whole School BBQ, face painting, and a live band—just some of the many activities throughout the week.

The week concluded with a highly entertaining "College Has Got Talent." Our host, Mr. Benjamin Hiscock, kept the evening lively with his great humour. Our judges, Ms Silva, Mr Singh, and Ms Kenna, were hilariously biased when judging their act and were rather harsh on the teachers' performance, which I thought was the best yet!

This year we also marked our Junior Campus students' first participation, adding an extra layer of excitement to the night.  Special thanks to our SRC backstage crew and Mitch Clode, James Kruger, and Daniel Su for their incredible technical support behind the scenes. The night wouldn't have been possible without them.

Our showcase of talented students included:

Alinta Margetts, Daisy Henry, Jack Drummond, Zach       Colliton, Amelie Hiscock, Rupert Merrin, Charlie               Hiscock, Austin Sobey, Jack Drummond, Ariana Taylor,

Freddy Nagorcka, Daisy Rentsch, Grace Haldane, Phoebe Baker, Annabelle O’Toole, Henry Horne, Nick Hoskyns, Grace Dohle, Arshi Woosantia, and Marianna                                                                   Novikov.

Well done to all our performers—you were so brave to stand up in front of your peers and perform. Our College truly has talent!
