Year 7 2024 so far!
Our Year 7 students are halfway through the year, and what a year it has been. To see the students’ growth from when they arrived for their State Wide Orientation Day to the strong and well versed individuals they are now is a very proud state for the College.
It is wonderful to be walking through the Year 7 space and seeing students in full uniform, with equipment and on time for their classes and engaging in learning.
There have been many key experiences for our students so far:
- Year 7 camp
- College Athletics
- Swimming Carnival
- Cross Country Day
- House and School Assemblies
- Top 20 Academic celebrations
- NAPLAN
- ICAS testing
- Specialist presentations from Bairnsdale Police
- Blue Edge Program
These events have been scattered throughout the everyday activities that our students undertake within their classes, forming strong friendships with peers and building their understanding of the world around them.
Our focus this term is on the School Wide Positive Behaviour, and classes working together to gain value points, with a reward at the end of the term for the form group with the most points.
