Junior School

Golden Heritage
Today our Year Six students had the privilege of hosting members of the Golden Heritage Club, a distinguished group of Trinity College Old Boys who graduated over fifty years ago. The afternoon was filled with meaningful connections, storytelling, and shared experiences that bridged generations.
The visit began in classrooms, where the Old Boys joined our students to share memories of their time at Trinity College and their journeys beyond school. The boys were captivated by tales of campus life from decades past, noting the remarkable changes in facilities, daily routines, and learning experiences. It was a unique opportunity for our students to gain insight into the rich history of the College and reflect on how education has evolved.
Following the classroom visits, students and guests enjoyed a shared lunch, fostering further conversation and camaraderie. The day concluded with a warm welcome at our Junior School assembly in Gibney Hall, where the Golden Heritage Club members were acknowledged and celebrated.
On behalf of the Junior School staff and Year Six students, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the gentlemen who generously gave their time to be with us. A special thank you also goes to the Trinity Old Boys Association (TOBA) for their outstanding coordination and support in making this event possible.
God Bless,

St Vinnies’ Fundraiser
Thank you to all boys and families for supporting our ‘pyjama day’ in Term Two. Students (and staff) certainly enjoyed the relaxed dress standards and the minimal preparation time for school that morning. We raised $305 valuable for St Vinnies’.
Wheelchair for Kids – Year 4 Blue
On Wednesday, 23 July our Year 4 Blue class visited Wheelchairs for Kids in Wangara—a volunteer-driven charity that creates durable, all-terrain wheelchairs for children in need across the globe. During the excursion, students discovered how these life-changing chairs help children attend school, gain independence, and enjoy a better quality of life.It was an eye-opening and inspiring experience, highlighting the incredible global impact made by a small, dedicated team in our own community.
Term 3 Clubs
Term 3 clubs will officially commence on Monday, 28 July. All information regarding clubs, venues and coordinating teachers will be distributed via email.
As a reminder, for boys who will be transitioning to the homework club in the STEM room, this club concludes at 5:00 pm. After this time there is no supervision on campus. We cannot guarantee the safety of your son. If you anticipate any difficulty with pick-up times, we encourage you to contact the school office, prior to 3:30 pm, or the homework club directly on 9219 1210, after 4:00 pm.
Student Achievement
Jack Nelson (5 Green) was recently selected for the U11/12s EVO Football team and had the incredible opportunity to travel to Melbourne for four days to compete in the 2025 Diamond League — a prestigious national invitational tournament.
Jack played exceptionally well throughout the tournament and was awarded Player of the Tournament. Beyond the matches themselves, the experience was truly unforgettable for Jack. His time in Melbourne included intensive training sessions, team-building activities, and the chance to meet and learn from professional soccer players — something that inspired him deeply. Congratulations, Jack!
Water Corporation Incursion - Year 4
Our Year 4 boys enjoyed a fantastic incursion with Anna from the Water Corporation, who shared valuable insights into how we manage and protect our water in Western Australia. The session covered the roles of dams, groundwater, and desalination, the importance of protecting our catchment areas, and the basic processes involved in treating water to make it safe to drink.
A fun fact that amazed the boys was that by turning off our sprinklers during winter, we can save 5 billion liters of water, that’s enough to fill Optus Stadium five times! A definite highlight was using microscopes to examine four different water samples; dam, tap, ocean, and groundwater. The boys observed each one closely to determine its source based on its appearance. A big thank you to the Water Corporation for providing such an engaging and educational experience!
