The Resilience Project (TRP)
For the rest of the term, both Junior and Senior classes will be focusing on the trait of Gratitude during our TRP lessons. Students spent time over the past few weeks identifying their own personal strengths as well as the personal strengths they see in their friends, peers and teachers. They also identified different objects and concepts around the classroom which they were grateful for. Students are having some amazing discussions around just how lucky we are here at St Mary’s to have access to all of the opportunities we are provided, which is so lovely to hear. It’s been great for the Junior students to be witness to these chats with the Senior students too, as they are made aware of what it means to be grateful and how we can practise this ourselves at home and at school.
Students spent time creating their own Personal Strengths medallions during TRP lessons. They were so proud to wear their medals and share their own personal strengths.
