Assistant Principal's

Report

As the cold weather sets in and we edge closer to the end of term, we’re hoping that by the end of the week, we’ll all be flying down the green slide with big smiles on our faces!

Throughout the term, nearly all students have had the opportunity to explore our new space and contribute to the garden—planting and learning tips on how to care for it. We can’t wait to see everyone enjoying the area together as it continues to grow and flourish.

5/6 Choir – Boroondara Eisteddfod

On Wednesday, our talented 5/6 Choir travelled by train to the Hawthorn Arts Centre to take part in the Boroondara Eisteddfod. They performed two songs for a large audience and panel of judges, giving it their all and making us incredibly proud. It was a wonderful experience, and the students are already looking forward to their next performance. A huge thank you to Tanya Dolence for organising the day and supporting our performers so beautifully.

Safety Reminder – Double Parking on Fergie Street

We’ve had several reports from families about the dangers caused by double parking during drop-off and pick-up times. Double parking reduces visibility, creates traffic congestion, and most importantly, puts our students at risk.

Yarra Council officers are now monitoring the area closely, taking photos and issuing fines where necessary. Let’s all work together to keep our children safe. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Parent–Teacher Interviews – Term 3

A reminder that Parent–Parent-teacher interviews will take place in the first few weeks of Term 3. These meetings are a valuable opportunity to discuss your child’s progress and set goals for the remainder of the year.

More information about booking times will be shared early next term.
