Term 3 has officially begun!

Term 3 already?? Goodness gracious this year is flying! We are almost two weeks in and the libraries are buzzing with enthusiastic students ready to kick off the new Semester with a bang!

Here are some of the events that will be happening over the two campus libraries during this term:

• International Friendship Day - Tuesday 30 July
• National Science Week 12-18 August

Recommendation of the Week

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy     by    Douglas Adams

Mr Cohn who, too, has a strong appreciation for this novel, describes Douglas Adams' "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" is a hilarious romp through the cosmos that defies genre conventions. The narrative, following protagonist Arthur Dent's journey from Earth's demolition to the quest for the ultimate question, showcases Adams' knack for blending philosophical ponderings with comedic genius. This clever fictional novel is a whimsical blend of aliens, technology, and existential musings creates a uniquely enjoyable reading experience that leaves readers both laughing and contemplating the universe's mysteries long after the last page. 

Our libraries are wonderful spaces to be enjoyed by all, but we are still seeing students coming in and not respecting the space. Please remember these rules apply over both campuses:

• No gum
• No food or drink (except water)
• Safe use of furniture
• No movement of furniture
• Leave spaces tidy and free of rubbish
