Year 10 Work Experience

128 Year 10 students participated in our Work Experience program in the first week of term. The program is designed to encourage students to source and complete their week of work experience, within an area that they have curiosity, and may be thinking about in terms of a future career.  As a collective, our students gained a wide variety of business and industry experience from fields including pharmacy, real estate, veterinary, health services, mechanics, hair and beauty, primary schools, childcare centres, journalism and local government.

On behalf of our Year 10 students, the College would like to thank all the generous, supportive workplaces who made this year’s work experience program possible.  We have received some fantastic feedback from our students about their experiences, which for many was the first time they have been exposed to a professional work environment.  Our students gained valuable confidence and knowledge, which they will be able to reflect on as they pave their own way towards their chosen career.
