ADF opportunities

Non-Australian citizens can now apply for the ADF 

Did you know we’ve changed the eligibility requirements for non-Australian Citizens? If your students or job seekers meet certain criteria, they may now be able to apply for an ADF Career. Find out more on our eligibility page. 

To be eligible, they must:

• be a New Zealand citizen

• be a permanent resident living in Australia or holding a 444 sub-class visa

• have lived in Australia for at least one year immediately prior to applying to join the ADF

• have not served in a foreign military in the two years prior to applying to join the ADF
