Dear Parents, families, and students
My goodness this wet weather - it is very wet under foot here as I know it is everywhere. It has been so wet here we even had a tortoise visit the playground. We think it was trying to take shelter in the classroom but it couldn't quite problem solve how to climb up the steps! The days of sunshine are rather precious at the moment and when we see the sun's rays we are making the most of them here at recess and lunch.
We have had a busy beginning to Term 3 with so much to do and learn and experience - never a dull moment. We seem to have come through the other side of the illnesses for the time being thank goodness. We only had 3 students a couple of weeks ago, so great to have had a week of higher attendance this week with happy and healthy children.
Thank you to those parents who we have had for the 3 way Parent/Student/Teacher conferences. Only a couple left to go. Please remember to contact the school anytime you wish to discuss your child's progress - you don't have to save it up for the conferences!
Very much looking forward to Book Week - who doesn't love an opportunity to dress up!
Kind regards,
Hannah Crawford
